How Reclaim Helps

Three Specialized Services

1. Recalibration Retreat… One Day; One-on-One to Rediscover Your Calling and Reignite the Passion to Pursue It… Post-Retreat Coaching to keep you focused and encouraged via weekly contact over a month.

Reclaim Leadership’s Recalibration Retreat takes a Leader out of the familiar into an environment free from the clamoring attentions… if only for a day! The focused, intentional retreat is time for a series of reality checks about life, calling, and ministry. Each retreat is individualized to the leader and available to both men and women leaders. Reclaim Leadership will provide a gender specific team member to minister alongside for the day. The details are simple, you’ll receive:

  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Encouragement through Conversation, and
  • A Gift

2. Mediation… When conflict threatens to devastate what God has designed…a team of trained conciliators come alongside to assist in handling offenses with a God honoring process.

The Mediation Services of Reclaim Leadership work in conjunction with the Institute for Christian Conciliation, a division of Peacemaker Ministries, Inc. We have experience in:

  • Pastor to Pastor Conflict
  • Governing Board Conflict
  • Ministry Marriage Conflict
  • Congregational Conflict
  • Forced Termination
  • Church Staff Conflict

3. Core Care… Restoring the Witness of Christ in Communities where Congregations are grieving the failure and dismissal of Pastoral Leadership… Family relocation and ministry to the fallen leader. Reclaim Leadership will engage the leader and their family to determine if the Core Care plan is appropriate.

The Core Care plan for the leader and his family has five major components:

  • Relocation from ministry field of service to the Dallas Texas area.
  • Commitment to weekly worship and Bible study under the grace-based teaching of a Partnering Church.
  • Intensive, biblical counseling in a retreat setting through Cornerstone Lodge.
  • Engaging in a coaching relationship while seeking the appropriate time for serving in existing ministry structures within one of Reclaim Leadership's Partnering Churches.
  • Restoration of ministry service as led by God’s direction and reconciliation of past issues with all parties involved as feasible.

The Core Care plan for the church or ministry agency has three major components:

  • Consultation services to encourage and prepare the congregation or organization to handle the internal and external conflict biblically.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with regular reporting between the removed leader and leaders of the congregation or organization.
  • Guidance toward restoration of witness in their community by way of modeling forgiveness and reconciliation of relationships (rarely restoration of ministry positions).
