Four days in Colorado to reconnect as husband and wife

 Ministry asks a lot of a marriage. The late nights, the crisis calls, the weight of caring for everyone else. This retreat is four unhurried days set apart for the two of you, away from the demands of ministry life, to unplug, reconnect, and rest.

This retreat is for pastors, missionaries, ministry leaders and their spouses who are ready to invest in their marriage the same way they invest in everyone else.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Four days in the mountains between Denver and Breckenridge. The programming is minimal by design, four sessions based on Dr. Willis’ book Rooted & Resilient, you will also have hours of free time to explore the Colorado Rockies together. A Reclaim Leadership Host Couple will lead each retreat, drawing on years of pastoral experience and their own journey coaching ministry couples.

●      Shared meals and storytelling with a small group of other ministry couples walking the same road

●      A built-in date night in Breckenridge, just the two of you

A SMALL, PROTECTED GROUP

Each retreat is limited to six couples, and we ask that only one pastor and spouse from the same church attend a given retreat. That limit is intentional. It creates the kind of safe, honest atmosphere where you can be fully yourselves, without worrying who from your own church is in the room.

2027 DATES

Retreats are run in Colorado, between Denver and Breckenridge. Most couples fly into Denver and rent a car; some make the drive in their own vehicle. Either way, you will need a car for date night in Breckenridge. With only six couples per retreat, dates fill quickly. Once the retreat dates have six couples, registrations go to a waiting list. Please only sign up for one of the four retreat options.

WHAT IT COSTS

The Respite Retreat for Couples is free for ministry leaders and their spouses. The only cost to you is travel to and from the retreat location in Colorado.
